EPR and MOX are semisynthetic compounds, derived from ABA and ivermectin, respectively (Fig. S1) (Alvinerie, Sutra, Galtier, & Mage, 1999; Chen, Hung, & Fleckenstein, 2002). Pesticides are widely used in agriculture, primarily for pest control, thus improving crop yields.
