Participants were eligible for a financial incentive when enrolling in school or starting tertiary education year, a short course, a course at a technical college, or vocational training, or upgrading classes, and regularly attending or completing any of these forms of education, and participants were also eligible to win a raffle prize: if they were randomly selected for STI screening and if they tested negative for Trichomonas vaginalis and syphilis, then they would be entered into a cash raffle prize draw.
